For over a year now someone has been calling my home while I'm at work and leaving a half-message on my machine. It goes like this. This is Mrs. Williams, I will give you 5 seconds to get a pen and paper to take down this number. click.
No number to call and no clue to the message. It's been getting to me lately so I was thinking about calling the phone company and having the call traced as a nuisance or something if possible.
Then suddenly for the first time ever, the call came through while I was home and had actually picked up the phone, but I was in my son's room at the time.
This time I heard, "hello, I am trying to reach(my number) for some necessary information. I will give you five seconds to get a pen and paper and take down this number. Please call 455-" and as I reached across my son's desk for the pen and paper the phone went dead as a doorknob. I had stretched too far and pulled the plug on it!
Noooooooooo.
Was that a coincidence or was I not meant to know.....? |
