criminal background check webtrain1 08/21/03
A friend asked me a question that i could not answer.
He lives in Massachusetts and has a criminal conviction from a few years ago, it is a felony crime.

Does anyone know where i can find out or if you know for sure that in Massachusetts law 7 years after a conviction, he can answer no to the criminal offense question on a job application?
Some applications ask "Have you ever been convicted of a felony?" One company told him that after 7 years of the conviction it did not matter? is this true?

When I said to check with the MA Attorney General's office, that means to call or email them.
