Our new boss asked us to sit in with him for interviewing position of assistant manager and unit supervisor. My friend - colleague declined the request saying that what we junior level workers will do there. To which my boss replied that since he has only been here for not more than 2 months our presence there will be helpful to him BUT we still need to find someone who is sharp and could evaluate the individual’s non verbal actions. We don’t know any one like that and how the heck do you evaluate someone’s non verbal actions.
Since I have never been in such a situation, can someone help me to form questions for the interview? My boss and the personnel dept will do all the talking BUT STILL I WOULD LIKE TO THROW IN SOME QUESTIONS. This will be a first experience for me and I don’t think anyone else would give me such a chance at a junior level and I want to impress my boss and peers.
I looked at the job description but still don’t know how to make questions out of that.
Also, I asked my friend and she said not to ask open ended questions or did she say closed ended questions. What do I do?
Thanks
