| price comparisons for basic goods in the UE |

thanks kkemper, but this is not a college or HS assignement. It has a much more practical aim:). I live in Italy and since the adoption of the Euro in 2002, prices have risen dramatically. The cost of life has virtually doubled and more and more people are unable to make ends meet. When the other day the price of milk reached euro 1.47 a liter i was determined to find a comparison table with prices in the different eu countries. i suspect prices have risen in italy much more than in other countries, due mainly to speculation and lack of government control over it. I was eager to find comparison data (average monthly salary net of taxes; price of basic goods, cost of electricity and energy, average home rents)....Maybe i was asking too much but i was sure i would find at least basic goods prices But i have only spotted comparisons for cigarettes and car prices. and milk selling price from farmers which is around 35 euros per 100 kg, that is o.35 cents a liter tehn??? However nothing exhaustive or readable: This is why i have asked for help lucia |
