If you are like me, you go to visit some of the hockey message boards. Now I know that everyone is entitled to an opinion, but seriously, are these people stupid or something?

How can a person talking about hot and cold streaks bring up playoff success or failure? How can a person consider Toronto's modest 3 game winning streak as being hotter than Vancouver's 10 game winning streak? Just because Toronto had more shutouts in this span, and has had playoff success, does not mean that they are hotter than the Canucks right now.

I mean, it's like saying that Detroit was hotter than St. Louis at the beginning of the season, despite St. Louis having a 9-game winning streak, and Detroit playing .500 hockey, but are the defending champions.

I know that people like to be like Don Cherry, and speak their minds, but at least get your facts straight.

    Comment any way you wish.

Hi King! You are so correct that the first 20 games are just as important as the last twenty. But you just don't judge a team how they're playing, as you say, "at that moment."

Thanks for your rating and your comments. I appreciate it.
