I don't know if you're into old movies, but did you ever see an old Hollywood film made in 1949 called WHIRLPOOL? It starred Gene Tierney as a wealthy woman who was hpnotised by a quack doctor played by Jose Ferrer. He makes her the prime suspect in a murder case...
The reason I ask is that it was one of the films that first got me interested in hypnotism. It was great fun to watch it. Incidentally, it was obvious that the producers cast Jose Ferrer as the hypnotist largely because of his voice, which was very calming and reassuring, as well as being very strong. Which all leads back to what you said in an earlier answer about the importance of having a good voice. Which prompts me to ask another question - during your training, were you given any exercises or techniques to improve your voice?
So 2 questions today:
1/ Ever seen WHIRLPOOL and what did you think of it? 2/ Ever get any voice training as part of hypnotism training?
Many thanks again
Paul.
