how to waterproof concrete ceiling madima 11/05/05
    Dear Experts,

I'm living alone in my condominium, the unit is 10 years old and am having a problem with leaks in my concrete ceiling everytime it rains.

There is a vacant unit above me and it gets flooded everytime it rains. I don't think that unit will ever be sold and inasmuch as its floor is not waterproof, the water leaks down my unit. The absentee homeowners' association doesn't want to do anything about it and I can't force them to.

Is there a way I can waterproof my ceiling on my own? Unfortunately, I have a very limited budget. Also, do I have to waterproof everything? Not just the areas with localized leaks? Thanks in advance for your help.
