Since I am versatile my main passion, is to work smart and make a decent living without too much stress.
Real Estate sounds like a good business, but aren't certain locations for selling houses much better than other areas?
I have a friend that use to live in my area and she did mediocre. Then she move to Phoeniz, AZ area, and her business is booming.
If I thought this area was more profitable I would consider it. Any suggestions in dealing with that problem is appreciated.
      Thanks in advance.

      Hi again, sallie:

Real estate is HOT all over the country. Yes, there are some places where it's better.

Just because one person does mediocre, doesn't mean that everyone in that business is doing mediocre. There are business's where people are lined up to get in - and they fail. There are other business's that just limp along and make a nice living for their owners.

I remember a corner where 15 restaurants went broke. Does that mean the corner sucks, or the restaurant business is no good? No. The next guy that put a restaurant there is making a fortune.

As an interesting aside, my ex-wife lives in Scottsdale, AZ and has a real estate license. She had the time and the energy to devote to a booming market. She failed.
