Even a fairly modest, older computer should do the job for you, as long as it is capable of supporting the operating system you choose. In other words, even a slow computer will probably be adequate for this single purpose.

Basically, all you need is the software you will use to create the documents you are going to fax, and the WinFax software for sending the faxes. There are quite a number of programs you could choose for preparing your menus, but a simple word processing program might be all you need.

I would recommend that you use a desktop computer for this, rather than a laptop. Laptops have a tendency to do unpredictable things when left unattended, such as going to sleep. In theory, however, if the laptop has a fax-compatible modem in it, you may be able to get it to work satisfactorily for you.

Consider that if you have 150 faxes to send and each one might take about a minute to transmit, that represents 2-1/2 hours of faxing time. It would certainly make sense to program the software to send the documents in the middle of the night.
