Hello Labman, I realize my question might be out of your league and I hope to get your thoughts/opinion although it may be. Would you have any idea as to how the hatchback of my suv is being damaged by my flat tire being serviced? The hatchback no longer shuts correctly and the warning light stays on until I get off and slam the door shut again. Any ideas on how this is possible? This happened after I left the tire shop when I took it in for tire service. Look forward to your thoughts on this. |
Clarification/Follow-up by oncee on 06/09/08 6:55 am: Thanks, Labman. Glad to know someone understands that this is possible. I've had nothing but bad attittude from my insurance staff who insist that it is not possible that my vehicle could have gotten damaged from a mere servicing of a flat tire. The tire shop told me to prove it. The road service never returned my phone call and have refused to talk to me at all. I keep insisting that the damage was caused as a result of my flat tire being serviced but I'm being made to feel like I'm stupid or crazy or something worst.
AAA has done nothing but discouraged me from filing a claim.
At first my insurance arranged for a car rental to have my vehicle repaired and then they call me and tell me Hyundai told them it is wear and tear. The guy at Hyundai doesn't know the whole story. He doesn't know that the problem has been there since appx October when it first happened.
The next time this happens I'm calling the police.
Appreciate your opinion. Have always had great respect for your opinions. Thank you
