Dripping noise from Central A/C unit dvarde 07/02/07
I have a central air/heat unit. The air return or intake vent is located in a room that is adjacent to the garage.

There seems to be an unusual amount of condensation "dripping" from the unit and it leaking onto the garage floor.

I've cleaned/replaced the filters... still doing it (leaking).

I'm wondering if the drip tube (or what I'm calling it ... a PVC pipe that runs from the intake unit outside to where the a/c unit is located... could be stopped up ?

I live in South Georgia and it has been hot, but not to the point that I'm thinking it should be puddling up like this in the garage.

Any help is appreciated... if you belive the PVC tube is stopped up... could I use something like a small drain snake to unstop/unplug it ? Or use a air compressor ? Vacuum ?

    Thanks
