Removing rusted pins form a cast iron wood stove DILLIGAS 02/03/05
I have to remove some old pins form a cast iron wood stove. They were rusted in place and the last person to open the doors sheared them off in both the door and the mount on the stove itself.

I have drifts/punches to remove them, but and very worried about cracking the metal when I attempt to punch them out.

I have been soaking them in WD-40 and penetrating oil for a few weeks now, but with no appreciable success.

What would be the best method for removing these pins to have the best chance of not breaking the mounts/hinges? (Drilling is not practical as they are recessed into the front of the stove and I do not have the equipment to get in to that tight of a spot to drill them out, at least on the stove itself.

    Thanks.
