| Term life insurance |

With this example, I am dealing with an insurance broker. I am seeking term insurance for a 56 year old man. He was turned down by 1 company and asked to submit his application about a year later so they can observe whether his blood pressure was kept under control for that length of time.
With this example, I am transacting with the company directly. At the same this insurance company have asked requested authorization to get his medical record so that they can make a determination as to whether they will give him a policy or not.
I didn't expect to be dealing with 2 companies at one time, we were hoping to have had this determination by the 2nd company completed.
I just want to make sure he gets insurance. I am hoping if one don't work out the other one will.
I am just not sure if this method will backfire because of things known and unknown to me, or he may give a negative impression like 2 companies checking the MIB Bureau, or questions they may ask on the insurance application, like are you seeking policies with any other company, etc.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance. |
