| Are those temporary hair straighteners as good as they say they are? |

I am a woman of mixed parentage. My mother is half white and British, while my father is of pure African ethnicity. As such, my hair is naturally long, with thick unruly curls. While surfing the web, I can across a list of products that claim to temporarily straighten any hair type until your next shampoo. Their endorsers swear by them, declaring that they will leave your hair bone straight, shinny and amply protected from harmful UV rays. Are these products as good as they say and will they really straighten my hair just as well as any chemical relaxer. Will they leave my hair bone straight as long as I desire, or will my hair simply frizz a few days later or as soon as it touches an ounce of humidity. will these temporary straighters have any harmful effects or will my hair simply return to normal with my next conditioning. will i have to constantly keep using the formula, or will my hair really maintain the sleek look for as long as i wish. sorry for all the questions, but one last thing! will i have to apply an anti frizz serum with the formula to maintain that straight appearance. if these products are as good as they claim, which would you recommend that will leave my hair just as straight as the chemical relaxers until i decide to rinse. what anti-frizz product will you also suggest to go alone with it, that will hold my hair firmily in place. thanks much.
