Body waves vs. perms ClassicFilmBroad 07/19/04
    Hello there! I have medium thickness, just about stick-straight hair, and I've been contemplating getting a body wave in it lately. Trouble is, I don't want my hair to be curly -- I just want to give it enough "texture" so that when I do curl it, it will hold. I've had a perm before and let me tell you, when those things start to grow out, it's UGLY. If a body wave will do the same thing (/make me look like a poodle), I really don't want to do it. What exactly is a body wave? Thanks for the info.
