Hi Voiceguy2000,
I'm going to drive to Houston this weekend for an LSAC law school forum. There will be representatives from all the law schools there that interest me.
The fact is, I have already submitted all my applications, but the forum will have some interesting workshops. But I am thinking there might be a potential benefit if I go around to the schools that I applied to and get some "face time" with the admissions staff, so that they might remember me when they review my application.
Do you have any advice on whether this is a good idea, and how I can make the best impression on the key people?
Also, as I mentioned before, I am certifiably a member of a federally recognized Indian tribe, and so I claim this in my applications; however, one would not look at me and think "Indian". Do you think I might be sabotouging myself if I get face time with them, and then later when they review my application, they have to wonder why I claim Indian status? |
