I have just recently started my first garden and I am learning as I go. I planted watermellons, cucumbers, and cantalope next to each other. Most of thier blooms are very similar. Recently I have found several cucumbers that have mellon qualities about them. Some of my cucumbers are round and have a mellon shape, as well as two kinds of seeds. The cucumbers even seem to have a mellon after taste. Is this cross pollenation possible, and if so, is it safe? |
