People who form friendships based on Outward Appearance Anonymous 10/23/07
Why do you suppose some people will not be friends with people they perceive as prettier or more attractive themselves, even when some of the friends they choose who are not attractive may not have a good character or be the kindest. I often see that certain cliques will only associate with people who look like them, rather than forming friendships with different levels of physical attractiveness. I would think I would rather be with a person who was kind and considerate and pretty than with an ugly person who is nasty. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Young good looking people always hang out together...it's a genetic thing. It's about selecting the healthiest best quality mate.

Haven't you noticed that young married couples are almost always of the same level of attractiveness?
