| Blood odor |

Hi...I am currently writing a mystery novel and have a quick question regarding the odor of blood. This may sound like a silly question but can a person detect the smell of blood after twenty five years time? I don't think so but wanted to be sure before I put this in my book. According to my research blood turns a dark brownish color after a time but I could find no mention of its odor. Thanks so much ahead time for your help...Marguerite |
