River Rock bluto 05/20/05
    Hi experts...

Does anyone know if river rock are available in Ohio?

'river rock' being fairly smooth, round, and flattened, gray, or dark gray rock of all the same consistency and color.

If I didn't goof this all up there is a pic here: RIVER ROCK

I have looked at landscaping companies, sand & gravel places, and the typical consumer stores like Lowes, as well as garden stores. I've about given up finding these around here, let alone finding them for less than the cost of the world's stash of gold.

But before I begin looking at suitable alternatives I thought I'd ask and see if anyone had any ideas or knew where one might find these things.

My intent is.....ok.....was....to use them around my house for landscaping. I do not want multi-color rock. I want it to all be about the same coloration and texture and size.

I CAN find this material, but....the sources are in Oregon, New Mexico, etc. Like I said above....it would be horrendously expensive to have these shipped here. I was hoping to find a source here in NE Ohio.

    Thanks :)

    bluto
