| Water uptake differences in cut flowers |

Which cut flowers typically have a high water uptake? I want to do an experiment on the effect of water pH on water uptake and want to use flowers with a high uptake so the difference will be easier to measure. I know the water intake will depend on how the flowers have been handled, but still wonder if certain cut flower usually take in more water. |
