| when fraud happens with savings accounts |
sunnier |
08/08/05 |
i found out today(after not checking my statements for a while)that it appears to be someone withdraw money from this account-i was out of town that day. i called the fraud dept. of the bank and they are going to research it and then i have to call the fraud division tomorrow and they can change my numbers etc. i have had friends that this happened to and it is common. just scares me that someone would have id that would appear to be me. i will defend myself here to the max... who are these weird theives that do this crap???and if they do not give me the funds back i will get my attorney involved here. scared. |
Clarification/Follow-up by sunnier on 08/09/05 8:52 am: turns out it was an error in the way the printed out my information; so everything is fine. i have a friend that had someone forge one of her checks for only 436 dollars-it is true people shouldnt risk things for so little- petty stuff.
thanks,false alarm-lisa
