I am writing a fantasy novel for 10-14 year olds.... arthurbach4 05/19/04
I am writing a fantasy novel for 10-14 year olds and I need some help describing the three main characters as a group.

You see the two boys are best friends while the youg girl is the hated step-sister of one of the boys.

When I write about them as a group it is hard to come up with new and interesting ways of referring to them.

These are the few that I have come up with and any help would be much appreciated:

    The trio
    The adventurers
    The three companions

    Any other ideas?

P.s. it would be easier if they were all friends. I could then include "The three friends..."
