Recycling Small Appliances & Electric Devices Ccl471 12/20/06
I have some small appliances and electric devices that are no longer working that I need to get rid of. But I think if I just throw them in the trash they would end up in some place where they can cause harm to the environment.

Here is a list of items I want to get rid of:

    batteries
    light bulbs
    calculators
    lamps
hair dryers and other small appliances

There is a computer and consumer electronics recycling center in my area, but they don't take the stuff I listed above.

Are there recycling centers that take appliances and electric devices?

    Many thanks,

    C.L.
