When I was 2yrs. old, I had a dream that my grandfather, who ha past away a few months before, had returned for a visit. I ran up to him and he gave me one of his big hugs.. I still remember that dream.
Then, my mom died in 2001. I sarted having a reocuuring dream about her being around the family, but no one knew she was there but me. This bothered me. I would try to ask the others why she was there, but everyone ignored me. I had about 5 of these dreams that month after she past. Finally, in the last dream, I went up to her, and ask what she was doing there, she was supposed to be dead??? And she looked right at me and said that it was ok, that I could go on now... I have not had that dream since. That was 5 1/2 yrs. ago!
Two nights ago, I had another reocurring dream. This one was about my grandmother, who past away over a year ago. I didn't get along with her, because she had favorites if the family, and I wasn't one of them. I ressented her for that. By the time she died, it didn't really bother me. Anyway, I had 2 dreams before this one, spreratic, within a 3 months time frame. They were that she'd be around, but I didn't talk to her, nor did I even desire to. This time in the dream, my aunt told me that she was here, and that she came to see me! I felt a little funny, but then when I saw her and she smiled at me, I felt better and went to talk to her. She told me she was sorry and that she is proud of me, then and I told he I forgave her, and I woke up. I'll bet I don't dream about that anymore either. I honestly believe, I'm being visited by them. I've also had at least one dream about my other grandpa who has past on as well. I must have one big open mind to keep channeling them in like this. What do you think?
Also over the years I had many many reocurring dreams of being in a city, where all tall buildings and a triangular shaped one in the center of the road. Cars are driving around it. Like the one in New York. There's a girl, sometimes in the dream, she sitts on her front stoop and watches the traffic go by. She's sad, she's dressed in clothes from the sixties. And her hair is similiar to mine, but much longer. Sometimes in my dream, I'm driving around in the city. I went to Galena, IL (they too have one of those triangular shaped buildings.) and the whole time I was there, I felt like I wasn't supposed to be there. It just felt odd. Not sure what that means either. I remember a factory smell that really bothered me, not as if it stunk, but intimating. What does all that mean? I had another one of those dreams last week.
