| MS WORD will not work now |

I got a copy of Word XP and installed it on my computer then I started having a problem where I get the splach screen in a blink the the open MS word in safe mode box. So i deleted it and went back to a "real" uncracked copy of Word 2000 that I purchased and have used for a long time, but Now I get the splash and one of those MS Word word is not responding box with the option to send of not send and the program will not load. All my old doc. still work but I can not create a new doc. Please save me!!! |

Not sure what a "real" copy is. but one should never delete programs, they have to be uninstalled. Therefroe the best way to clean this up is to reinstall and properly uninstall.

Try the System Recovery feature under Programs>Accessories>System Tools.
