Health Problems making life difficult Anonymous 04/23/07
    Hi,

I have several health issues that really at times makes it difficult to function. I am in my late 40s.I am able to work and stay at home because my husband is there to help. But I can't help but panic when I think if something were to happen to him, I can't make it on my own or live on my own as ill as I feel from time to time - I get to feeling quite weak. Where would I go and how would I live when at times I feel incapacitated from exhaustion and actually disabled from mental and emotional fatigue? I get scared and petrified everytime I have to lay down from exhaustion.
What community services are available to help people who have medical problems? Are there home services available to assist? Or would I have to go to an assisted living quarters? I'm so scared just thinking of what would become of me without my husband's help. Thanks.
