Heat Damage? Ccl471 04/22/07
I once had a Specialized Epic Comp bike, with a carbon fiber frame. I owned it for six years. In the fourth year I moved to a new house, and then I placed the bike in a storage shed. At the new house, it gets really hot in the summer. And when it's hot outside, it's even hotter inside the shed. It was there that eventually hundreds of tiny air bubbles formed all over the frame's carbon tubes. Could that have been caused by the heat?

    Many thanks,

    C.L.
