Well, you didn't study it very much then. There have been many things written about the dangers that can happen. You mean to tell me, you didn't know that the suggestions implanted during hynosis can have long range effects, and effect other areas as well? You have never seen stage hypnotists implant suggestions, like to act like a chicken, and seen people implement the suggestions that they would never do otherwise? Either you are lying, or very naive.

As for as never do otherwise, no, you can not make anyone do anything they would not normally do.

You are either a perosn who for some reason wishes to discredit very important hypnosis work or have been hypnoises by some religious group to not understnad the truth,

It is sad you have such a lack of proper understanding of the truth on this matter.

I operated a clinic for many years that uses hynosis as part of its process, I would say that is much more understanding than someone who many have read crack pot writtings.

Reminds me of those that speak against the Catholic Church from crack pot writtings of various anti catholic groups.

it's even more dangerous that you fail to understand the dangers. to try and force me, to believe, that there is no danger in it, is not going to work. If you want to pretend, that people won't do things during hpynosis, that they don't normally do, that is fine.

Now a person would not pick up a gun and shoot someone. But if they beleive they are six years old and it is a toy gun, they would pick it up and shoot.

next of course a person who never lets say held a baby, can not be made to sit and act like he is holding a baby because they dont have a reference to the activity.

and of course the even at best the subconscience suggestion would only hold for a short period of time.

Most work with stop smoking makes it hard to hold for more than a few days at best without re-inforcement

First yes, many people have all sorts of ideas that we never know anything about.

But if you tell the person they are 6 and it is time to take a bath, yep they would take thier clothes off,

It is all in setting up the correct ideas in thier mind, but it would not make them do it latter.

You don't make them do anything they would not do, but you can twist thier ideas of current age and place.

I have been studying hypnosis since I was 18. I have been doing if for over 30 years. The difference between you & I, is I don't try and lie about it, and I don't cover up the dangers. I just say what is so. Use it at your own risk.

You appear more a religious zealot that is against it. Not someone that uses it.

And of course you have not shown any study or proof of your side, merley telling lies against the use of it.

At what point did I bring up religion, and how do you feel that is connected to hypnosis? Are you trying to attack me with anything you can to prove your point? There are hazzards with hypnosis.
