I just found a credit card statement that was due 7 days ago, which I had mistakenly placed in the wrong pile on my desk. I have another pile that contains all the bills that I have to pay this month. (They're not messy piles, they're neatly stacked.)
Is it better for me to pay it now, or would it not make a difference if I waited for the next statement to come and make the payment then?
