Who owns this and can we be issued with a cease and desist order Calabria 10/15/04
    Hello,

    I hope this makes sense. We run a website where we do celebrity interviews. Basically members of the public send in questions to the website and someone asks these questions to the guest over the telephone.

    One of our forum members starting out in the world of journalism offered to help, we agreed and supplied them with the information to contact the guest and questions to ask.

    We have a specific way of laying out the interviews e.g

    Site Name : What is your fav color?

    Guest name : Blue

    Due to some problems with the person we have removed from this role. They are now threatening us with a cease and desist order unless we put them in a format he wants or we remove them from the site.

    Can anyone advise on where we stand and who actually owns these interviews. We do allow people to help with the websites, we think its a nice way to get people involved and develop skills. But are we on rocky ground.
