| More on changing roles of Publishers/Authors |

Sorry for the inconvenience. I' post my follow ups as new questions from now on.
Some more thoughts of mine that I' like to get some feedback on please.
With the increase in POD of time-sensitive works, will the role of a publisher change?
After all, they still have to, or should, do the standard work such as editing, copyeditng, promotion and so on.
Also as I understand the economics of the POD, in theory at least, it is a better, cost efficient way of publishing books,up to a certain print run.
How will a publisher have to change to meet these needs. (Where I work part time is mainly concerned with manuals for cars so we will not be changing.) And what about the role of the author for POD books?
Will they still just wrtie the work and send it out to be printed or will they change their rolls too: To try and become a publisher (or in this case self-publisher).
Thank you for reading this far. Have a nice day. Sincerely, Conchan
