    i stupidly picked up sobig.b
    after opening
    "support@microsoft.com"
    I have no desire to reformat my HD.

    I have 3 virus cleaning systems and
    the one that claims it finds it will do zip
    and one crashes.

    Other ideas?

    I don't want to turn off my virus cleaners!!

      From reading the Symantec information, it sounds like you may need to run the removal tool two or three times in order to be completely effective.
