1 stooge hairy 02/12/03
Y'all should have seen me today! I did a three stooges routine by myself.
I was standing on a roof overhang that we had just installed on a pool house. I was walking down to the other end to get some shingles and when I bent over to pick them up, I lost my balance. Needless to say, I started doing the balance dance (Swinging my arms in a circle and saying ooooohhhhh ccccrrrraaaaapppp.) I reached behind me to grap something and was relieved when I felt something to grab.... For a second until I realized that I had grabbed a shovel we had been using to scrape the old paper off of the roof. The shovel just went with me!
Luckily, there is a pretty soft bed of jasmine at the end of the pool house and I fell in it. It still knocked the air out of me.

There I was laying in the jasmine wheezing like an asthmatic Hog with a shovel laying on top of one leg and under the other. All of a sudden I see my partners face pop out from over the edge of the over hang and he says "I bet that hurt."

    You think?

      Glad you are OK!

Here is one of mine: I decided I wanted to read some books using a map of the British Isles and a dictionary, but my table was crowded. So, I put a basket by the side of my coffee table and put the reference material in the basket.

In the deep on night, I had to go to the bathroom.

I stepped into the basket and when I started gliding across the living room with my arms windmilling, my black cat, NIck, flew across my path about waist high!! Finally I came to a stop and started laughing uproarishly.

      Cordially, Chou

      Dear Hairy,
Thank you for your generous rating and I hope your dad was right. I could sure use some extra help...even just staying upright.

      Yours,
      Jeff :)
