Hello, I am a rising senior in high school and I am, as are most of my friends, scared to death of what I'm going to do after we graduate next May! Ever since I was a little girl, I have LOVED old movies. I love learning about the history of old movie stars (especially those from the late 20s to mid 60s), old directors, old films -- EVERYTHING. In fact, my dream job would be working for Tuner Classic Movies. But I'm not exactly sure what I would do (Write for their magazine "Now Playing"? Help set up their programming and schedule? Work with selecting the Star of the Month?) and I'm not exactly sure what I would have to major in to do such. I am assuming that one would have to study to be a film historian -- but I really have no clue. This is one thing in life that I feel sure I could do and would absolutely love doing it. If anyone can supply me with any information on jobs and majors available in this career field (classic films), I would greatly appreciate it!
