Mechanical Engineering renegadebanjo 03/05/07
    hello..

    i have a question:

i live in norway, and i wanted to ask a little bit about the universities in the US..I am in a university in Norway..taking a master degree in Mechanical Engineering, im in my first year in a 5-year program..3-year bachelor and 2-year master...

and i was thinking of coming to the US, and studing part of my education there..or taking a master degree in the united states.

so i was wondering which universities in the united states is best/very good in engineering?

I have heard the university of san diego has a very good engineering program, is that right? which universities are better/ or equal to it?

as you can see, i dont have the knowledge about the universities in the US..so please direct me to links, and the right information (not books, because i can't find them here in Norway)

and please write a scale from 1-10, of how hard it is to get accepted in these univerities, 1 - easiest and 10 - hardest (Harvard and Yale), where does san diego university lie in this scale? is it a 6, 7 or what?

    Thank you
