I donate money every year as a Christmas present for someone, but rather than pick something well known, I try to pick a charity which has some appeal, some unusual angle, or something unique. Last year, for example, I donated to Heifer International, contributing shares in a llama for a village in South America. Leg of llama, anyone?
I'm looking for a reputable charity (with a low overhead rate). Any suggestions? |
