When I was a small child, my father told me that a snake wouldn't cross a rope circled around a person's bedroll. About age 15 I found out that his snake "remedy" was a myth when a copperhead crossed the rope and crawled directly toward my best friend. He almost shot everyone in the camp but that's another story. :-)
Anyone else ever heard one of these camping myths? Ever heard one that turned out to be true?
Thanks, Hairy |
