Hi, HeadRanger George up in San Fran
You have helped me (quite ably) over the years.
Question: When I pay for groceries with a check they ask for my valid CA driver's license which I have NO PROBLEM. What I object to is this: The clerk takes a large red pen and writes my license number boldly in the top of my check pretty much for the world to see.
Legally, can I request that they NOT write my number on my check??? Appreciate any suggestions/Comments
