Who's to respond? salama 02/27/04
I resigned from my company some 4 months ago and now work on temporary basis. I feel, I was made to resign due to malice and hate.

last week I received a letter from a customer complaining about my attitude at work. I am ment to respond to that letter in person.

Is it appropriate to do so or shuld the company do the reply?

It is never wise to burn bridges. If you can create a neutral reply, that may be the appropriate course. By neutral I mean bland and non-controversial. "Though I am no longer employed by XYZ Company, I have been asked to respond to your letter. I regret any inconvenience you may have suffered in your earlier dealings with XYZ, and hope that you will give the company a chance to serve you again in the future."
