    Parents' support of children's education
    ---
I would like to know what is considered a normal level of parents support of childrens college education in USA? I want to know what the law says about it, ethics especially statistics. Should a student feel guilty that parents support him while he is studying? Should parents who can support a child while he is studying, even can help with financing education, but dont want to do it, because they dont really care about a child, considered bad parents?
