Can't watch Streaming video and trailers venus55 10/12/07
Do you need certain software or a certain program to be able to watch streaming video's or trailers on the internet? Everytime I try and watch one the video and sound goes on and off every few seconds and takes over 30 minites to be able to get to the end of a 4 or 5 minite video. I'm using winows Vista on a HP Pavilion slimline computer and using a dial up connection

Unfortunately, no. DSL or cable is the only way to do what you want to do.

      PS...
if you do not want to install any such plug-in or helper application in your browser for security or any other reason,

then www.keepvid.com is a website , which will generate a downloadable link of the media, so as you the directly download it then...

for example there is some content on youtube, and you want to download it, right click and copy the link.
now go to www.keepvid.com paste the link in their download field, click download...and it will generate another link, which when clicked will start the direct download of the media file and then you can have the multimedia content from youtube downloaded on your computer for good.
