Taking down a basketball pole TMarc 08/12/06
Hi retiredmanvan...Several years ago I put up a standard basketball hoop in my driveway for my two boys..Now they're gone from the home and I'd like to take it down and be rid of it ! My problem is that, following instructions, I filled the pole with cement...up to the top....for stability..I can dig the whole pole out of the ground but it's so heavy I can't move it...I can't find anyone to haul it away...I think I need to cut it up into sections... What can I use as a cutting tool--remember a steel pole filled with cement...Thanks
