Poor hot water pressure annec 01/02/04
We have great COLD water pressure but throughout our house the HOT water pressure is poor, with the exception of the kitchen (which is fine - not terrific, but adequate). The kitchen faucet is not original (replaced in last couple years). The HOT water pressure is especially poor in the bathrooms. When taking a shower it is impossible to get a comfortable temperature - either too hot or too cold - the adjustment is so minute that one can't get it in a good spot (or so this is our thinking). One bathroom's hot water faucet will be open fully and have a small stream only (more than dripping). The house is about 25 years old. The bathrooms are on the upper floor and the hot water heater is on the lower floor. We don't have any residue the comes out of the faucet (that we can see) and the water tastes fine. What could be going on?
