Well ozzies, dear John is going to discuss the basing of american forces in Australia again.
The timing of this admission is interesting, coming as it does on the admission that Australia's aging air force may need to be scraped before the joint defence aircraft becomes available.
What we have here, aside from the usual forelock tugging and kowtowing, is a clear dereliction of duty on both sides of parliament in adequately maintaining Australia's defence capability. |
