Albert Einstein denberg 10/28/03
I've often seen it stated that Einstein failed a maths entrance exam in his teens, and was generally unremarkable. Yet I remember reading a few years ago that his school records were recently made public and he was top in every subject.

    What's the truth?

      Clarification/Follow-up by denberg on 10/28/03 7:04 pm:
How practical was he? If his car had refused to start in the morning, would he have been able to fix it? OK I know this is impossible to say, but what what I am asking is, was he any good with basic electrics, etc, or was his knowledge just on the blackboard?
