    This question always riddles me, and I am not sure about my answer.
    Suppose an astronomer is standing on a land and watching Sun as it rises in the east. Suppose there is another astronomer standing somewhere else on Earth and watching the Sun as it sets in the west. Neglecting the rafraction of atmosphere which makes the days longer by 11 min, how far (km and degrees) thes two astronomers are from each other?
