the star's names and shapes erik_jon 11/19/06
hello...i'm a 19 year old man who would like to know about the stars..

when i look up to the sky, i want to be able to know the names and the shapes of the most famous stars..

for example, the only star i know about is: the seven sisters (M45)...could you please guide me to an internet site (or something like that, NOT a book, because i live in another country, so i dont think that i can buy that book)

Or if you want to give me information of how the stars look like...(pictures would be fantastic) so the next time i look up to the sky i could be able to know the stars names and shapes....

I want to know the shapes of orions belt, the great bear, and the little bear..the north star..the one on the australian flag....(i do not just want to know how they look like, because i can just google them..but i want to know where they are in the sky)

I come from Norway, so please tell me if i am not able to see some of the stars..

    Thank you so much..
