| Problems reading audio files with PowerPoint |

I've just created something using PowerPoint (I have imac OS 9.2) and I want to add music to it. I've recorded a track with SoundJam in a mp3 format. I've tried to insert this track into the program I created from PowerPoint but PowerPoint doesn't read the track. What should I do? What do I need to make my PowerPoint read MP3 audio files?
