    Help please....How do I write the following using the equity method:

    Purchased 2000 shares of 10,000 shares no par common shares of Reilly Co. for $45,600. The investment was accounted for by the equity method?

    Debit to Cash $45,600
    Credit Stocks investment $45,600

    Is this corret.
